This Privacy Policy defines how we, Marathon Distribution Group collect, store and use your personal data when you access or interact with our website https://www.marathon.com.ro from where we obtain or collect your data.
This Privacy Policy is applicable as of 01.08.2019, when our website was launched.
The personal data we process
When you register on our website by creating an account, accessing it, or using the contact forms, Marathon Distribution
Group will process personal information.
The information we collect: name, first name, contact details – email and/or telephone number, information from cookies, information about the used device, information about how you use our website, the date and time you accessed the website, the geographical location based on IP.

Sensitive personal information: we do not collect what is commonly called “sensitive personal data”. Please do not share sensitive personal information about yourself.

- – For communication in the case of requests for tenders and the transmission of electronic documents

- – when you dispute the accuracy of your personal data that we process;

- – when we no longer need your personal data for the purpose of processing, but these are necessary for finding, exercising or defending a right in court;
- – when you objected to the processing of your personal data, for the period of time in which it is verified that the legitimate rights of the operator prevail over your rights
- 4) The right to have them forgotten, the right to request the deletion of personal information that refers to the person in question, unless we are bound by law to store them.

In case you consider that we have not been able to solve all your requests or if you are not satisfied with our answers, you can submit a petition to the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing. You can also resort to the courts for legal action.
